Mobile World Congress 2019 is approaching and smartphone manufacturers are gearing up to showcase their best products, Samsung for example. Samsung will be launching a series of phones including Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Fold and lastly 5G phone aka Samsung Galaxy S10 X. Xiaomi has now announced that it is also joining the bandwagon. The company has sent out a media invite for MWC 2019 for an event scheduled on Feb 24.
Reports reveal at the MWC event Xiaomi will be finally launching the 5G version of Mi Mix 3. The original variant of the Mi Mix 3 with a slider camera was launched in China at the end of 2018. Soon after the launch of the regular model Xiaomi announced that it is working on a 5G version of the Mi Mix 3 to launch very soon. Reports claim that Xiaomi could finally launch 5G version of Mi Mix 3.
Alongside the Mi Mix 3 5G Xiaomi could also announce the Mi 9. A report that leaked last week revealed that Xiaomi could possibly launch the Mi 9 in the month of February, and what could be better than MWC to launch the company’s flagship. There’s however no confirmation from Xiaomi on what they plan to announce at MWC, but these two devices — Mi Mix 3 5G and Mi 9 — are likely. The invite also doesn’t mention anything.
